"Blood, Sweat, Tears & Laughter. Speaking the Hard Truth; a play on HIV/AIDS issues in a Northern City."
This project, funded by
Northern Health Initiatives and run in partnership by Street Spirits and
the Prince George & District Community Arts Council, on November
9th is directed towards the GLTBQ community in and around Prince George,
and will engage them on their thoughts, feelings and stories concerning
These shared stories will be used by Street
Spirits to generate the a play “Blood, Sweat, Tears & Laughter,”
which will be filmed and turned into a resource for agencies wishing to
also similarly engage in HIV/AIDS
research through theatre. The end play will be on December 1st (World
AIDS day) and be held at Art Space at 7pm.

Thank you for your support with Studio Fair 2013!
Prince George Community Arts Council is pleased to announce they have a
space available to rent to an Arts or Culture group starting September
16, 2013. You must be a Not for Profit Society or Group that is in the
Arts sector. The space is upstairs in the 2880 building and is 409
square feet. The space has a phone line if needed. This space is very
reasonable with an annual lease. If interested please contact the

Preschool of the Arts
The Preschool of the Arts is now accepting application for the 2013-2014 school year.
*Please note that thee are no afternoon per-school sessions at this time.
Medium and large. A variety of time slots available! Check with our gift shop staff to sign the spaces out! Reasonable prices. Reduced rates for members and member groups! Ask us how to become a member.

Please note: Community Arts Council Staff meetings occur every other Wednesday and are from 9:00-10:00 am. The next is December 4, 2013.The Gift Shop opens at 10:00 on these days.
