Making and Using Terra Sigillata to Elevate your Pottery - May 20

Making and Using Terra Sigillata to Elevate your Pottery - May 20

$65.00

Terra sigillata is an ultra-fine clay slip that gives a soft sheen when applied to bone-dry ware and, when burnished, can be buffed to a high gloss. Ancient Greeks and Romans used this technique in lieu of glaze. It results in a buttery surface for unglazed surfaces of your pots.

This class will teach you to make and apply terra sigillata to the specifications of your preferred clay body.
