Looking for a Creative Space for your gathering or event?

The Community Arts Council has three spaces that can be rented for a variety of meetings, exhibitions, classes or receptions.  As our organization is mandated to support arts and culture in Prince George the facilites are only available to individuals, businesses and organzitions that fall within that umbrella.

SPECIAL NOTE:  The Kitchen is currently not available.

Please read the Rules & Regulations…

  • The party renting the Jack Bryan room, the Kitchen, or the Upstairs of 2820 is responsible for any and all damages incurred while using the facility.
  • The renting party agrees to pay a $50.00 deposit at the time of booking to cover cancellation, damages and other costs such as additional cleaning.
  • If you are serving alcohol, you must get a Liquor License. The capacity of the Jack Bryan Room is 50 people.
  • For any commercial event, including receptions, you must have Liability Insurance of $2,000,000.
  • The CAC must receive copies of the Liquor License and the Liability Insurance in advance of the event.
  • The renting party agrees that no one under the age of 19 will be served alcohol.
  • The renting party agrees to maintain reasonable order at all times.
  • You are responsible for cleaning the space rented. This includes removing garbage to the outdoor bin, cleaning floors, wiping counter tops and tables and ensuring no debris or materials are left behind. There is a fully-stocked custodial closet by the men’s washroom that contains garbage bags, disinfectant, mops, brooms, paper towels. We will inspect the room after your rental and you may be charged a $50 cleaning fee if the Community Arts Council staff has to clean after the rental.
  • Do not open the doors that face 15th Ave; they are alarmed. Building tenants may enter their codes to disarm, but then you must close all doors/windows and re-enter the alarm code before you leave. If you experience any alarm problems, call Curtis Elite at 250-614-8000.
  • You are welcome to use the coffee maker. After use, please empty the carafe and basket. Please wash all coffee items – including mugs. Please clean up any coffee spills.
  • You are welcome to use the refrigerator while you are using the kitchen, but please remove all items you have brought. This is a day use only fridge. We will discard any items left in the fridge.
  • If you are an “occasional renter”, please return the key(s) at the end of your rental or in the morning of the next business day, to the Artisan Gift Shoppe in the 2820 15th Avenue building.
  • Turn down the heat to 18 Celsius at the end of the event. Each room has an individual thermostat.
  • Secure the building (lock and alarm)
  • Clean/wipe and return tables and chairs to the designated storage area.
  • The renting party agrees to give two weeks’ notice prior to cancelling the event.

**Please note:  The CAC reserves the right to cancel or decline your room reservation due to the following reasons:
–    Non-payment history
–    Arrears
–    CAC needs the room (This will be three week’s notice and we will accommodate your second choice as best as possible)

We also ask that you leave the room neat and tidy. A cleaning fee could be charged to you if this does not happen.
