Teen Art Workshops Begin

The 2018-19 Teen Art Workshop & Showcase season began on October 24 at the PG Library, Bob Harkins Branch.

This year there will be two, Saturday workshops with an illustrious line-up of local artists providing one-on-one advice and feedback to local youth.

The first workshop had a good turn out. Local artists participating included Christina Watts, Michael Kast, Keith Kerrigan, Si Transken and Elizabeth Gibbs.

The next workshop will again be held at the library on Saturday November 24 at 1 pm.

All participants additionally receive a no-cost annual membership with the CAC.

In February, participants can enter an art work for display at the library and will be judged in a competition that will result in five, $200 prizes.

We thank the Kiwanis Club of Prince George, The PG Community Foundation and the PG Library for their support of this awesome program.
