Scholarships

 

We LOVE to Give Back…

The CAC has scholarship and bursary programs, designed to support local students at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels.

These programs include:

  1. One annual $500 scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating SD57 student who intends to study performing arts at a recognized post-secondary institution. Students apply for this scholarship through their local high school.
  2. One $500 bursary for art supplies is awarded annually to a student studying full-time in the Fine Arts program at the College of New Caledonia. Students should contact the financial awards office at the college for more information.
  3. One $500 bursary is awarded annually to a full-time University of Northern BC student entering their first year of post-secondary education. First preference will be given to a student with demonstrated interest/career goals in creative writing. Students should contact the financial awards office at the university for more information.
  4. Multiple bursaries are available to local elementary and secondary students of Indigenous heritage to assist with the purchase of art supplies. This program is administered by the Northern Indigenous Artists’ Collective. Students or their teachers can apply by contacting niacpg@gmail.com.
