We offer classes throughout the year
We are interested in all forms of photography, including black and white prints, colour prints, slides, digital technology, and the use of computers to enhance our photo taking experience. We like to participate in national and regional photo competitions, and we try to get “out in the field” as often as we can. We share our knowledge of cameras, lenses, filters, flashes and accessories, photographic techniques, and computers. We are open to suggestions from members / attendees regarding meeting agendas and field trips. Our members span the range from beginners to experts who make their living from photography.
Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, from September through June at the First Baptist Church, on the corner of 5th and Harper.
The Prince George Potters' Guild is a registered non-profit organization located at Studio 2880. Established in 1976, the Guild has a long, rich history of sharing opportunities, ideas and successes. It is completely dependent on the hard work and commitment of its members. Members of all skill levels form a co-operative group who generously volunteer their time and share the responsibilities of running and maintaining the studio facilities. We have a full member elected executive and board of directors. We are proud members of the Community Arts Council and participate every year in Studio Fair held the first weekend in November and the Spring Arts Bazaar.
